Luke Longley is one of Australia's most celebrated basketball players, best known for his crucial role as center for the Chicago Bulls during their second three-peat championship run in the 1990s. Born in Melbourne, Australia, Longley became the first Australian to play in the NBA and achieved remarkable success on basketball's biggest stage.

NBA Career and Championships

Longley was selected 7th overall in the 1991 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves before being traded to the Chicago Bulls in 1994. He became an integral part of the Bulls' legendary team, starting at center and winning three consecutive NBA championships from 1996 to 1998 alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

Standing at 7'2", Longley provided the Bulls with reliable interior defense, solid rebounding, and efficient scoring in the post.
